The Center for Excellence of Maritime Safety and Marine Installation (PUI KEKAL) is a center for research and product development under the direction of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember and Ministry of Research and Higher Education of Indonesia. PUI KEKAL mainly focused on research of maritime safety and the development of some products which applicable for safety of marine traffic in Indonesia.

AISITS (Automatic Identification System of ITS) is one of the main product which is being developed and implemented in some oil and gas company in Indonesia. This product was inaugurated by the Minister of Research and Higher Education and the Minister of Transportation on October 17, 2018 in Jakarta. Currently, AISITS has several features that are already available, including: Early warning system, Ship inspection, Vessel tracking system. PUI PT KEKAL is also active in conducting research results dissemination through activities such as international conferences, workshops, and training.
