Sukolilo is a Sub-district of Eastern Surabaya City also the center of higher education and home to our main campus. Many students come from various regions in Indonesia and overseas that makes this place to be a very friendly place for various cultures.
With 180 hectares of areal, many trees and green spaces has made this campus to be one of shady spots in Surabaya. Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) also has ITS Smart Eco-campus Program that intend to make ITS always has a progressive development in science and technology by applying the eco-friendly life style too. Campus Bikes is one of the facilities that ITS offers for reducing air pollution and applying the healthy and environmental friendly life style. In 2017, ITS crowned as Rank 3rd The Best Green Campus in Indonesia and Rank 57th Worldwide by UI GreenMetric World University Rankings. Our main campus is also the destination of the eco-friendly electric bus, Suroboyo, that you can ride to go around the city. All you need for the payment is only plastic bottle trash. Interesting, isn’t it?
ITS Sukolilo is a production place of GESITS, an electric and eco-friendly motor bike made by ITS students. ITS also has teams for energy saving cars, those are Sapuangin and Nogogeni which won the 1st and 2nd places in Shell Eco Marathon (SEM) Asia 2018. Many creative innovations produce by ITS, for example ITS Championship in Robocup (Ichiro) team who became the champion in Federation of International Robotsoccer Association-Humanoid Robot Cup (FIRA Hurocup) 2017.
Reblood Application was born to make blood donation process easier. Many researches was done too, such as disaster researches. ITS Sukolilo Campus is where almost the entire departments ITS stand and every department is equipped with laboratory that can be used for various researches which are conducted by its students. And also, this campus has research center as the center of all research activities in ITS.
