Development of women’s bags that utilize knitting techniques (crochet) to create colorful motifs that can support the appearance of clothing. Crochet squares can have a variety of patterns, including floral, geometric, or textured patterns. One of the advantages of crochet squares is their flexibility, which means you can make many squares with different patterns and then combine them into a larger motif pattern composition. This makes it possible to express creativity and create a unique design. One aspect emphasized in this research is the integration of color motifs to support outfits with reversible bag systems. The aim of this research is to create bag products that are multifunctional, aesthetic, and easy to match with various outfits. Generation Z is the largest group in Indonesia which is known to have unique characteristics because they grow and develop along with technological developments and the abundance of information. so Gen-Z are often highly creative, whether in art, music or other creative careers. that Gen-Z young people are individuals who actively communicate, especially in cyberspace, are creative individuals, expressive individuals who like to show their self-image. This reflects how choosing the right bag product can have a big impact on the harmony and harmony of their appearance. This research uses a mix method, namely qualitative and quantitative. Where the qualitative method is carried out in-depth interviews with potential users who are interested in the world of fashion in order to obtain more specific user data. Then the quantitative method uses a questionnaire regarding preferences that are significantly related to the expression and self-image emitted through the product and in-depth interviews using a differential semantic assessment questionnaire. Featuring expertise in crochet techniques, clever color selection, and practical reversible designs. The result of this research is a women’s bag that allows the wearer to easily change motifs according to the clothes they wear, thus creating harmony and style. This research shows the potential in combining knitting traditions with modern fashion needs, and demonstrates how traditional techniques such as crochet can contribute to creating innovative and sustainable fashion products.
