Along with advances in technology, the residential aspect has also begun to develop with an orientation towards smart living and smart furniture. This concept opens opportunities for interior manufacturers to create products as smart solutions to meet human wants and needs. Of course this also includes furniture in the house, such as the bedroom which is not only used as a place to rest but also as a place to store valuable and important personal items. Therefore, it is important to have lots of storage in the room. The nightstand is one of the storage table furniture that is often used in rooms that serves to store important or personal items that are placed when you want to sleep, one of the most common main functions of the nightstand is as a place to put a night light. From here, opportunities are created to innovate by integrating nightstands with technological sophistication to facilitate the mobility of its users, such as incorporating a smart light system into a nightstand product to become an innovative product that not only adds functional value but can also streamline storage space and increase sales value. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires and interviews. Then a study and analysis as well as user activity is made to find problems and needs. From this analysis, the final results of the study were obtained, namely the Combination Design of a Nightstand with a Smart Lamp System.
