Founded by Raden Wijaya on November 10, 1293, the Majapahit Kingdom was the last Hindu-Buddhist kingdom to rule the archipelago until the 16th century. After its heyday, Mojokerto in East Java became a new center with historical sites such as Trowulan, which holds archaeological relics from the kingdom. Majapahit’s legacy includes temples, inscriptions and literary works that are important to Indonesian culture and history. However, in this digital era, children often play digital games that lack critical thinking skills and social interaction. This research aims to develop the game Dam-daman Jawa as a strategic learning tool for elementary school children in grades 4-6 by introducing the history of the Majapahit Kingdom. In collecting data as a reference for the development of Dam-daman with the concept of introducing the history of the Majapahit Kingdom, observations will be made to the relic site of the Majapahit Kingdom in Mojokerto and also conduct interviews with elementary school children in grades 4-6 and literature studies. The goal is to help children develop strategic thinking skills while learning about local history and culture. The results showed that the developed Javanese Dam-daman game improved children’s understanding of Majapahit history and strategic thinking skills. Therefore, the game is designed with appropriate methods to meet children’s learning needs.
