Gresik is one of the regions in Indonesia that contributes to the development of the tourism sector due to its rich cultural heritage. Hotel restaurants play a significant role in introducing and promoting local culture to tourists and visitors. In this context, the research aims to design and develop dining tables and chairs that reflect the local cultural elements of Gresik for use in hotel business restaurants. One such hotel is Hotel Horison GKB Gresik, which serves as a case study for this research. The research methodology involves a series of stages, starting with the exploration and collection of information about Gresik’s local culture, interviews, and an in-depth understanding of the values, motifs, and traditional designs of Gresik’s culture. This is then analyzed using ATUMICS theory to combine traditional and modern elements. Based on this analysis, the dining table and chair designs are created by integrating elements of Gresik’s culture, such as traditional motifs, distinctive shapes, and unique local craftsmanship techniques. The design applies these cultural characteristics to the restaurant furniture set, thereby creating a strong visual identity for the hotel restaurant in Gresik and providing a profound experience for its visitors.
