The local culture that can take advantage of this phenomenon is wayang, a noble art which is also a work full of life values and provides good lessons for those who enjoy it. Conservation efforts need to be made, one of which is raising puppets using popular culture media, namely designer toys and video games. The design begins with collecting primary data from interviews with experts and questionnaires with potential users, and secondary data from journals, articles, books, previous research and existing products. This data is processed to carry out various studies and analyzes regarding pop culture, wayang, wayang characters that will be adopted, toy designers, product positioning, user persona, needs, preferences, and so on. The results of the study and analysis will be used to create design requirements and objectives which will then be used to create a design concept. This design concept is used as a basis for creating product ideation sketches, which are then selected as alternatives and selected again to become the final design. The final design will be made into a final product prototype. The design concept for this product is collectible and urban sci-fi, where the product is designed to be collectible and the wayang characters are adapted and appropriated into a sci-fi style that is popular, especially for urban and foreign communities. The output product is five articulated toy figures with a scale of 1:12 that adapt the five Pandawa figures into an urban sci-fi style, which are accompanied by accessories in the form of weapons, several sets of hands, a standing base, and a chip equipped with NFC tag technology that can be used. scan to get virtual goods in related applications or video games that support it.
