The largest teak forests in Indonesia, primarily in East Java and Central Java, are managed by PERHUTANI, with potential for optimizing wood waste. Environmental pollution, including from the fast fashion industry generating textile waste, is increasing. One solution is utilizing natural materials like teak wood. This research aims to design a men’s bag with a natural touch using teak as its structure. The wood used is reclaimed from production facilities. The study involves collecting various wood pieces, gluing, and shaping them according to a design. Additionally, three products are made with different percentages of teak wood waste—90%, 50%, and 25%—each featuring distinct teak wood covers. Designed for both daily use and formal occasions, this research hopes to enhance public perception of recycled products and demonstrate the potential of reclaimed wood from the furniture industry across various sectors.
