Eduroam (education roaming) is a wireless service (WiFi) that applies globally in universities and research institutions. Through the Eduroam connection, students, lecturers and education staff can access the internet safely and for free when visiting universities/other institutions that have joined Eduroam, both at home and abroad. Currently, Eduroam services are available in thousands of universities around the world. In Indonesia, there are around 36 universities where Eduroam services are available.

• Benefits for the academic community and ITS education staff
  ITS academics can use email accounts (@its.ac.id and @student.its.ac.id) and myITS password to connect to the internet on the ITS campus and at thousands of universities/institutions that are members of Eduroam throughout the world.
• Benefits for guests visiting ITS
  On the other hand, guests from other Eduroam universities/institutions can access the internet via the ITS network by using the username and password from their home institution when on the ITS campus.
