The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) through letter number B-6874/II.7.5/FR.06.00/11/2024 regarding Information on the International Research Synergy Workshop for e-ASIA JRP 14th Call for Proposals invites lecturers and researchers from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) to attend the International Research Synergy Workshop. This workshop aims to promote collaborative research in East Asia through the formation of international research teams on predetermined themes. We will hold this workshop on:

Theme

The workshop aimed to welcome the opening of the RIIM International Collaboration funding program – 14th Call for Proposal e-ASIA Joint Research Program (JRP). The Deputy for Research and Innovation Facilitation (DFRI) of BRIN manages this program, which focuses on three main themes addressing global challenges:

  1. Health (Infectious Diseases and Immunology)
  2. Alternative Energy
  3. Disaster Risk Reduction and Management

The Purpose of Workshop

e-ASIA JRP is an initiative aimed at encouraging cross-country research collaboration in the East Asia region to provide solutions to global problems. This program not only offers funding but also supports the creation of international research networks. Moreover, the strategic themes of this workshop make it an excellent opportunity for academics and researchers to advance science and expand their professional networks.

The main objective of the e-ASIA JRP workshop is to bring together researchers from various countries to form collaborative research teams. Participants will receive the latest information on funding schemes, proposal submission procedures, and research collaboration opportunities that can support the vision of sustainable development. In addition, interactive discussion sessions will play an important role in exchanging innovative ideas and concepts.
