Willy Aelredus Irianto as Chief Executive Officer of Jago Teknik
Jago Teknik originated from the personal experiences of Willy Aelredus Irianto, an Electrical Engineering student who faced challenges in understanding fundamental courses at his university. The inconsistency in teaching styles and the limited availability of information sources left him struggling to grasp the material. At the university level, being independent in seeking information and understanding the material is crucial for success, especially in fundamental courses that form the foundation of technical education.
In his second semester, Willy and his friends decided to create a solution by founding Jago Teknik on August 5, 2023. Together with five other founders, they undertook thorough preparations throughout August to ensure that Jago Teknik could significantly benefit technical students. Jago Teknik’s main vision is to be a flexible learning platform for first-year students, helping them navigate the transition from secondary education to university. By focusing on flexibility in providing time and materials, Jago Teknik not only offers competent teaching staff in their fields but also empowers upper-level students who have a passion for teaching and education.
Practice Problems Provided by Jago Teknik
What sets Jago Teknik apart from other learning platforms is its commitment to flexibility tailored to students’ needs. From Video on Demand (VoD) that offers in-depth conceptual understanding to online and offline classes that suit individual learning styles, Jago Teknik provides adaptive and effective solutions. Its main products and services include various class options, such as online classes via Zoom and more personalized offline classes. Students can also access discussions with tutors, practice quizzes, and various developmental events like webinars and workshops, all designed to broaden their knowledge and skills beyond the academic curriculum.
Meeting with the Jago Teknik Team
Jago Teknik not only helps students master technical courses more effectively through a comprehensive approach from basic concepts to practical applications but also addresses major challenges in technical education such as consistency and access to quality information sources. By providing learning modules from credible references, Jago Teknik helps improve students’ learning consistency every week.
“My personal hope for technical education in Indonesia is for it to advance from its current level to a higher level. Many other countries already have highly developed technical education systems, producing high-quality graduates who significantly contribute to technological development in their countries,” Willy expressed his hopes for the future of Jago Teknik.
