On Friday, November 22, 2024, the Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (F-ELECTICS) at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) organized a special training session for educational staff in Room AJ-201 of the Department of Electrical Engineering, F-ELECTICS ITS. This activity aimed to improve service quality and professionalism in supporting the faculty’s academic and administrative operations.
The training began at 7:00 AM with participant registration, followed by the singing of Indonesia Raya and the ITS Hymn led by the operator and the organizing committee. A sense of togetherness and national spirit marked the start of the event.
A warm welcome was delivered by the Dean of F-ELECTICS, who opened the event by emphasizing the vital role of educational staff in realizing the faculty’s vision as a center of technological excellence. He also commended the participants’ enthusiasm for continuously learning and improving their competencies.

The session featured Mrs. Henny Fransisca, an expert in service and management, as the keynote speaker. During the first session, titled “Internal Customer Service,” participants were encouraged to understand the importance of serving with sincerity towards students, lecturers, and colleagues. A lively discussion, facilitated by the moderator, provided an opportunity for participants to share their experiences and ask questions directly to the speaker.
The next session, “Managing Service/Service Excellence,” focused on strategies to provide services that not only meet expectations but also deliver exceptional experiences to all service recipients. Participants enthusiastically engaged with the material, which was followed by a Q&A session to explore the practical application of the discussed concepts.
This training is expected to drive improvements in service quality at F-ELECTICS ITS, positioning educational staff as the frontline in fostering a professional, harmonious, and satisfaction-oriented work environment.
