In an effort to maintaining environmental sustainability, Indonesia faced with several challenges such challenges forms of social, political, economic, wherein involvement natural resources should be produced to meet the needs and welfare of the citizen as well as the exploitation of natural resources be the main thing in the era of regional autonomy. Therefore, we need technology which can be used to face some of these challenges. Spatial technology is an alternative that can be used for purposes of mapping, inventory, and monitoring of natural resources exploration.
In order to facilitate discussion among experts from the various field to address those challenges, Department of Geomatics Engineering, Faculty of Civil, Environmental, and Geo-Engineering, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember will hold 2018 Geomatics International Conference on July 12, 2018.
