INCLENATION 2024: Building Identity and Unity Among New Students at ELECTICS ITS

As part of welcoming new students 2024 ITS, the Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (F – ELECTICS) ITS held the INCLENATION 2024 event with the theme “Legacy in The Making: Our Identity, Our Journey.” The theme, which depicts a journey of self-discovery in the forest, symbolizes the process each student will undergo during their studies at ELECTICS. This event serves not only as an orientation for new students but also as an important moment to instill the identity and values of ELECTICS.
INCLENATION 2024 is based on three main foundations: juridical, regulated by GBHK BLM (Student Legislative Body) ELECTICS ITS, historical inspired by the success of previous faculty orientations; and empirical, formulated based on surveys conducted with new students. Through this comprehensive approach, the committee aims to provide an in-depth introduction to ELECTICS and foster a sense of unity among the new students.
“This event is important because it aligns with the main goal of INCLENATION 2024, which is to introduce and instill the identity of ELECTICS in students, especially the new ones,” said Aditya Ramadhani S., the chairperson of the event.
Singing the ELECTICS Anthem Together
During the event, new students will receive various essential materials divided into four main outlines: an introduction to ELECTICS, the departments within ELECTICS, student organizations (BEM and BLM ELECTICS), and the culture and identity of ELECTICS. “These materials are presented in an engaging way so that new students do not feel bored,” added the chairperson.
Although the preparation for this event faced several challenges, such as limited time and changes in new student data affecting the budget, the committee managed to overcome them with high commitment. INCLENATION 2024 is also designed to build a sense of unity among the new students. From the pre-event to the main event, each session is designed to facilitate interaction and harmony between departments in ELECTICS.
In his closing remarks, the chairperson conveyed, “Entering university is a moment full of hope, challenges, and opportunities. Do not be afraid to explore yourself, ask questions, and try new things. We are ready to guide and grow with you through INCLENATION 2024.”
