The vision of the Department of Informatics focuses on becoming an excellent and innovative-inventive educational institution in intelligent informatics, supporting digital transformation and contributing to society with an international reputation.

Missions

The missions of the Department of Informatics are:

  3. Increasing the use of information and communication technology for the community,

Objectives

The objectives of the Department are:

  1. Produce competent graduates in the field of Informatics, and have the competitiveness and independence to compete at the national and international levels,
  2. Carry out continuous improvement of the learning process,
  3. Produce innovative and beneficial research works for the community, as well as publications in reputable national or international journals
  4. Contribute to improving the quality of life of the community,
  5. Take an active role in Informatics activities at the national and international levels.

The vision of the Informatics Study Program is to become a quality undergraduate study program that excels in the application of scientific knowledge in the fields of programming algorithms, system modeling, information processing and management, as well as network-based computing and cybersecurity at the regional level and has an international reputation in the next ten years.

The objectives of the Informatics Study Program are:

  1. Engage in the application of algorithms and programming, computer network architecture, applied modeling and computing, net-centric computing, graphical and game interaction, intelligent information management.
  2. Use appropriate algorithms, methods, techniques, approaches, frameworks, and tools to analyze and solve problems encountered in informatics applications.
  3. Communicate and function effectively and ethically as an individual and team member in a professional environment at the national and/or international level.
  4. Conduct lifelong learning and continuous development of knowledge and skills in the design, development and application of informatics in diverse industries with high professional and ethical standards.
  5. Understand local, national and global issues related to the development and application of informatics and consider the impact of these issues on different cultures
