The Developing Countries Partnership Program on Scholarship or Beasiswa KNB (Kemitraan Negara Berkembang) is provided for the Bachelor & Master Degree Program at one of 16 prominent Universities in Indonesia for 5 years period (1 year Bahasa Indonesia + 4 years Bachelor) for Bachelor degree and 3 years period (1 year Bahasa Indonesia + 2 years Master) for Master degree.
Since 2002, the program has been offered to the Bachelor and Master Degree candidates from the developing countries all around the world. In fact, this program has been attracting more applicants from Europe. Africa, Latin America, Oceania, and Asia.
All academic programs (lectures and thesis) will be conducted in Indonesian Language.
Period of Study:
1 year of Indonesian Language Program (merger with 4 months of Preparatory Program)
24 months (4 semesters) of Master Programs or
48 months (8 semesters) of Bachelor Programs
Scholarship Coverage:
Living Allowance
Research and book allowances (will be given during the Master Program)
Health insurance
Round trip international ticket
Immigration Fee
Tuition Fee (paid directly to the unversity)
General Requirements:
The maximum age to apply for the scholarship is 35 years old
Applicant must hold a bachelor degree for Master applicants (master degree holder is not eligible to apply)
Applicant must have a TOEFL (or other certified English Proficiency) score of 500 or equivalent
Applicants must complete the on-line application form
Prior to the departure to Indonesia, the successful candidates must sign the Statement Letter and Scholarship Agreement prepared by the KNB Scholarship management
Recommendation letter from the Indonesian Embassy in the respective country, issued in 2019.
Nomination letter from the respective government official (Ministry of Education, other related Government Agency – should the applicant works for the Government Agency, or Embassy of the Applicant’s Country of Origin in Indonesia)

Scanned valid passport (personal data page only)
Scanned bachelor certificate and academic transcripts (in English)
Scanned TOEFL score certificate (or other English Proficiency Tests) obtained within the last 2 Years
Scanned Official Medical Statement (Official Diagnose) prepared by a certified physician,issued in 2019.

Submit the Invitation letter, Passport, Academic Certificates and Academic Transcripts to the Indonesian Embassy to acquire the recommendation letter

Selection Results Announcement. The Selection Results will be announced online via the KNB Scholarship Website and officially announced through the Indonesian Embassy publication network
