On Friday, June 13th, ITS hosted a visit from Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU), Taiwan. CYCU delegates which were led by Dr. Sheng-Jie You, consisted of several professors from Environmental Engineering department. The visit which aimed to initiate potential collaboration between CYCU and ITS, started from 1 p.m. and run for 1.5 hours. The visit was attended by ITS IO representative, head of Civil Engineering department, and lecturers of Civil Engineering department.
In addition, the visit was also meant to promote CYCU master and doctoral degree of environmental engineering department to ITS students. Therefore, after having a meeting with ITS representatives, CYCU delegates conducted student session for ITS students who would like to pursue master and doctoral degree of Environmental Engineering in CYCU. The student session was opened for all departments, particularly department of Civil Engineering, Enviromental Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Chemistry. Unfortunately, the session was conducted during semester break. Therefore the number of student who attended the session was not much. Hopefully the visit will bring more mutual benefits for both universities in the future.
