Greetings from Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD). Universiti Brunei Darussalam kindly sharing their Call for Abstracts for the International Tourism and Conference Exhibition (ICTE 2018), especially about Borneo Heritage and Landscape.
The ITCE2018 will involve a number of multi-diciplinary activities including aspects of culture and tourism together with the excursions to places of local interest that should help participants mingle and experience Borneo in new and exciting ways.
Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:
- Tourism and Destination: Planning and Development; Marketing, Baranding, and Promotion; Tourism Management; Re-inventing and Consuming Landscape; Place Creativity and Innovation; Hospitality.
- Sustainable Tourism Development: Protecting People and Places; History and Heritage; Eco-Tourism; Heart of Borneo.
- Beyond Borders: Connectivity and Mobility in Tourism; Trans Boundary and Cross Flows; Tourism and Economy; Diasporas; Regional; National and International Tourism Policy.
- Islamic and Cultural Tourism: Embracing Islamic Heritage Tourism; Halal Tourism; Floating Markets and Villages; Heritage and Museums; Heritage Sites.
- Other Emerging Tourism Topics: Marine Tourism; Health Tourism; Danger; Disaster and Advanture Tourism; Tourism and Language.

- Deadline for Abstract Submission: 15 November 2017
- Notification of Acceptance/Rejection: 30 November 2017
- Submission of Paper: 14 January 2018
- Deadline for Early Payment: 07 January 2018
