Mahidol University, Thailand are pleased to inform you that they have scheduled a 3-week Summer Program called "Sawasdee Thailand 2018 " (which means "Hello Thailand"), scheduled from 2 – 20 July 2018.
The "Sawasdee Thailand" program aims to provide the participants with valuable knowledge in their field, and the effect cultural and geographic differences may have, as well as a deeper understanding of Thai culture, history, art and cuisine through activities and field trips. Four different modules are available to choose from, focusing on Culture, Business, Environment, and Technology. The participants can select the module which interests them the most, with all of the groups taking part in field trips and cultural sessions with Mahidol University students as well as participants from other three modules.
The program components are designed to balance classroom teaching with meaningful learning experience, such as group work, panel discussions, community engagement and cross cultural integration. The students will get the chance to travel to the North and East of Thailand to visit places of historical and ecological importance.

Mahidol University would like to offer 2 scholarships for ITS students to attend Sawasdee Thailand in Culture Module. The schedule program is attached for your review, with scholarship details as follows:
1. The scholarship will cover accommodation (excluding water and electricity charges), local transportation, airport pick up & drop off service, field trips and tuition fee.
2. The participants must be responsible for
2.1 Cultural Activities: USD 300 for Cooking, Boxing and Traditional Dance.
2.2 Excursion to outside Bangkok: USD 400 for 5 days in 2 provinces at the West (Kanchanaburi) and East (Chantaburi) of Thailand (Optional)
The participants also need to cover their own return airfare, travel insurance, and personal expenses. The participants can receive credits to transfer to their home university upon completion of the program.
This program open for ITS students all batch (diploma, bachelor, master & doctoral)

However, you must bring the original statement Letter in Interview Process.The interview will be held on Friday, 11 May 2018.
