It was a sunny day when the participants started their day by leaving for the first destination, Hero Monument (as known as Tugu Pahlawan) as the first agenda, the City Tour series. They enjoyed the museum that tells us about the history of 'Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya'. Their journey continued towards the House of Sampoerna by previously taking a picture together in front of the Hero Monument.
In House of Sampoerna, they could see the history and relics from the cigarette's factory in past decades. The place has various interesting objects that the participants took many pictures there. Not only that, but they could also see the factory workers making cigarettes. Very interesting place.
The last destination of city tour series ended in De Javasche Bank (Museum Bank Indonesia). The participants enjoyed the look of old machines that used in past decades and how the machine worked. Almost tiring day until the lunchtime came so before they continued the rest day, they could enjoy the meal first.
The next agenda was SME Visit where the participants divided into 3 groups. The first group went to Kampung Bordir and Kampung Kue. The second group went to Kampung Tempe and Kampung Bordir. The third group went to Kampung Kue and Kampung Tempe.
It's been a tiring day but a lot of fun. Can't wait for another journey for the next day!
