Dear ITS Students
UMAP (University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific) Consortium will held a 2 weeks camp for students from UMAP members universities with titled “2019 UMAP Discovery Camp in Taipei, Taiwan”. This program will be held on 4-17 August 2019 at Fu Jen Catholic University, Taipei, Taiwan
Organizers:
UMAP Discovery Camp 2019 consists of two major components: (1) the economy; and (2) society/culture. The economic component includes three lectures which discuss Taiwan’s past economic achievements, current challenges, and future prospects. Field trips are included as an accompaniment to the lectures, so students can have an up-close view on the latest economic developments in Taiwan. The social/cultural component of the program introduces the history and society of Taiwan, as well as how Western culture has merged with more traditional cultures here. The topics covered include history, religion, and indigenous cultures.
Participants: A total of 40 students may participate
Fees: Costs associated with the courses, field trips, visits, and accommodation are covered by the organizers. The selected participants are responsible for arranging travel to and from Taiwan and for expenses such as health insurance, meals, commuting, and other personal expenses.
Credit & Certificate Students who complete the entire program (i.e. all lectures and activities) will earn 4 credits (72 study hours) as well as a Certificate of Participation issued by UMAP Taiwan National Secretariat.

ITS will nominate only 2 students to join this program. The UMAP Secretariat will make the final decision about the acceptance of ITS Students in this program.
This program will open for ITS Students D3/D4/S1 batch 2018, 2017 & 2016 or S2 batch 2018
Here the requirement for this program :
1. CV
2. Scanned of Valid TOEFL/IELTS/TOEIC (You can use EFL/TEFL) with minimum score 500
3. Academic Transcript in English version
4. Scanned passport information page with validity minimum one year
5. Statement Letter (Please download from this link bit.ly/its-short-program )
6. Your funding plan (You need to explain how you can pay for this program, Is it from your parents or your savings or other resources, your commitment to fullfill the payment if you are selected to this program)
7. Statement Letter from your parents. The letter must explained that your parents know you would like to join this program and they will support you in financial things.
8. A Recommendation Letter from your lecturers
The incomplete documents can’t be processed by study abroad team
Please submit all of your documents (soft copy in PDF) with subject : Apply_UMAPCamp2019_Name_NRP to Mr. Wahyu at studyabroad@its.ac.id maximum on April 24, 2019 (23.59 WIB). However, you must bring the original statement letter, parents letter and your funding plan in interview selection.The interview will be held on 26 April 2019
