We would like to inform that National Chung Hsing University offers 1st NCHU Summer School for the Environmental Humanities in Asia, featuring the theme of “Imagining Nature in the Anthropocene. This program will be held in NHCU Taichung, Taiwan on 29 th June – 3rd July 2020. This summer school will provide up to 45 graduate students and early career researchers with an opportunity to engage these issues together with some of the leading scholars andpractitioners in the field, and to present and discuss their own ongoing projects. Beside that, in this five-day event, international as well as local scholars from cross disciplines—including Hannes Bergthaller, Chia-ju Chang, Shiuhhuah Serena Chou, Jon Christensen, Ursula K. Heise, Dolly Jørgensen, Chin-yuan Ke, Yih-ren Lin, Arupjyoti Saikia, and Keijiro Suga— will be invited to deliver speeches, run workshops and moderate project presentations with the aim of reimaging the relationship between humans and what we used to call “nature” in the Anthropocene.
