(Update) Virtual Exchange Program at Asia University Intake Fall 2020

Asia University, Taiwan opens a virtual student exchange program for Fall Semester 2020 intake (September 2020 – January 2021) for ITS students. The tuition fee for this program is waived and a physical presence in Taiwan is not required since this program will be running online.

Due to the regulations from Asia University, ITS Students are recommended to take partial exchange by taking courses from both ITS and Asia University. For example, ITS students will take 1-3 courses.We encourage the applicants to apply more courses as anticipation in case the courses  were suddenly cancelled due to the quota did not meet. By choosing this type, the student will be registered as a full-time student at ITS and she/he will still have to pay a full amount of UKT to ITS. Please pay attention to the schedule of selected courses from Asia University to make sure it will not have a time conflict with the courses schedule at ITS.

The Full Exchange Option is available for students from 2017 batch only and spesifically for those who completed 120 SKS at minimum. For example, an ITS student have to be enrolled at selected online courses in Asia University, by taking up to 4 – 5 courses/12 credits which all of the credits will be transferred to ITS. As the student would be registered full-time at Asia University, she/he will only have to pay the 10% of UKT.

Update regulasi: 

• Batch 2017 bisa mengambil kombinasikan mata kuliah yang ditransfer dan tidak ditransfer selama mata kuliah tsb digunakan untuk menunjang TA/KP/explorasi topik persiapan S2/kerja (misal 1 matkul ditransfer dan 1 matkul tidak ditransfer)
• Mahasiswa ITS bisa mengambil mata kuliah “basic Chinese” (tidak ditransfer) dengan kombinasi mata kuliah transfer lainnya (misal 2 matkul transfer + 1 matkul “basic chinese”)

This program is only eligible for ITS Students D4/S1 batch 2017, 2018 & 2019 and S2 batch 2019 from related departments.

Required documents:

1. Form-A_ApplicationFormforExchangeStudent
2. Certificate of Enrollment / scanned of ID Students (KTM)
3. Latest of An Academic Transcript in English version (GPA min 3.0)
4. Scanned Passport (if any)
5. Valid English Proficiency Test Score (Original). TOEFL/TEFL/EFL (min 477) or you can use IELTS/IBT (The screenshoot score from UPT Bahasa web is acceptable only for batch 2019)
6. Passport size photograph
7. Statement Letter & Learning Agreement (please download from here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange ). Those files must be signed by applicants and the Head of Department.
8. Recommendation/Statement from Dept that you can take full exchange and currently doing the preparation of final project (for students from batch 2017 only and those who completed 120 SKS at minimum)

Please send all of the soft copy of required documents to Mr. Wahyu at studyabroad@its.ac.id with subject : VirtualExchange_Asia Univ_Name_NRP  no later than 10 Sept 2020  (10.00 WIB). The online interview selection will be held between on  Thursday, 10 Sept evening or Friday 11 Sept 2020 in the morning (around depend of number applicants)
