Introduction of ASEAN-China Scholar Program The ASEAN-China Scholar Program is a fellowship program initiated by ASEAN-China Network for Cooperation and Exchanges among Engineering and Technology Universities (ACNET-EngTech) at Tianjin University (TJU). It aims to provide funded exchange chances for ASEAN and China scholars. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to host most of the activities on-line. Faculties from ASEAN countries could join and work with TJU faculties together on-line for less than 3 months in the field of mutual interest and need to deliver relative courses for students or given lectures. To give greater flexibility for scholars, specific research projects or academic activities will be determined by participants and hosting academic school together on case by case basis.
Benefits for Participants Tianjin University will provide funding to the participants, including: – lecture and/or course fees (pre-tax)

Application Procedure Participants will be selected competitively based on research background and the needs of TJU academic schools. Please check the following steps to learn how the program is administered: Step 1: Please send the application material to the Office of International Cooperation at Tianjin University through the following email: acnet_engtech@tju.edu.cn and int-off@its.ac.id

Step 2: After receiving your application, the International Cooperation Office will send application material to relevant academic school to review the application material.
Step 3: Once the academic school accepted and working agenda decided, your on-line journey with TJU starts. All works should be concluded before December 15th, 2020 and should not exceed 90 days.
