EPF Engineering School is holding its first international conference on the theme “Human Comfort in Buildings, an Interdisciplinary Approach in a Time of Climate Change” This conference inaugurates a series of international scientific conferences that will focus on the theme of well-being and comfort in urban environments.
The primary objective is to create a space that encourages collaboration across disciplines to promote innovative approaches and the emergence of new comfort norms that will help to contextualize, improve and optimize the well-being of the individual in their environment.
Virtual e-conference will be held at 28-29 January 2021
The conference will welcome several French and international guests as Keynote speakers, including: – Monika Rychtarikova, lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture at KU Leuven. Graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Bratislava, elected Slovak Scientist of the Year in 2015. She will speak on the theme of Comfort and the Acoustic Environment. – Laudati Patrizia, Deputy Director of the De Visu Laboratory, CA team. Specialist in Information and Communication Sciences and Urban Engineering, Communication and Information Science. – Vischal Garg, Lecturer, Centre for IT in Building Science, International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, India. His research focuses on thermal and visual comfort. – Stéphanie Lisy-Destrez, Associate lecturer at ISAE Toulouse, specialist in confined spaces in the spacecraft.
