SIT Sandwich (Student Exchange) Program for One Year 2021-2022 with Sato Yo Scholarship

Dear ITS Students,

Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) Japan would like to offer you One Year Sandwich Program (student exchange) intake 2021/2022 (start from Sept 2021 until August 2022) with Sato Yo Scholarship

The tuition fee for this program is waived. However the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, registration fee (30.000 JPY for fall semester only)  dorms and living expenses in Japan including Roundtrip Flight Ticket & Travel Insurance. You may use the scholarship to cover all this things. 

This special program only open for ITS Students S1 – IUP batch 2019. This program is not open for S1 reguler (you may wait the announcement for regular semester exchange). The students also must responsbile with special task (such as make a report, joint/gatheringseminar etc) if you are accepted in this program under Sato Yo scholarship scheme

(Please kindly note that the one who would like to join student exchange at SIT fall semester 2021/2022, you may get the information in separate post/page. We will open the information soon)

Please kindly note that ITS Students must take and transfer the courses minimum 10 sks per semester. You need to refer in each semester (1st semester refer to fall, 2nd semester refer to spring)

ITS students also have a chance to received “Sato Yo Scholarship Foundation” for one students only

The scholarship consist of:

– Scholarship; JPY120,000 per month

– Lump sum: JPY 100,000

– Round trip ticket

– Transportation fee from the airport to the accommodation upon the arrival to Japan

Please note that SIT will made the final decision based on our recommendation. However, ITS student is not guarantee yet to get this scholarship

Here the requirement for this program

1.  CV

2. One original applicant’s University Transcript. (English version). The GPA of applicants must higher than 3.0(out of 4.0)

3. Certificate of Enrollment

4. Motivation Letter (One Page A4 Arial 11, Margin 3,3,3 3). Please also indicate why you are eligible for this opportunity

5. Photocopy of the applicant’s passport information page with at least valid minimum until one year. If you dont have a passport yet, You need to submit a statement letter that you agree to submit your passport information scanned maximum by 1 April 2021

6. Valid English Proficiency Certificate Test Score (original). TOEFL/IELTS/IBT  (You can use TEFL/EFL with minimum 500). screenshoot is not acceptable

7. One recommendation letter from an academic advisor

9. Learning Agreement (please download from here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange ) Please only submit with your department coordinator (Head of Dept) signed only. You don’t need to get signed at Institutional Coordinator and please leave blank for that section. Please note that you need submit 2 learning agreement for both smester

10. Pledge Form ( Please kindly signed it and leave blank for institution coordinator section)

The incomplete documents can’t be process by study abroad team
