The event started with the opening ceremony on 30th September by introducing the outline of the program to the participant. Some important events this day is the opening speech from Assoc. The event continued with the introduction of the instructor that will be teaching in the class and also an explanation about the basic rule of the class. The enthusiasm is very high from all of the participants and can be seen from the number of participants who are willing to introduce themselves and state their purpose in joining this program. The event is then closed by the group photo together with all of the participants who’re present in the class.

The following week, continued by the first day of the lesson started with Indonesia Language Feature, which explained about the very basic lesson of Indonesia languages such as the alphabet’s pronunciation in Indonesia, numbers in Indonesia, and many others. Before the lesson, the instructor in each class and the participant are given time to get known each other because they will be together for the next twelve-week. This session is very (emotional (?)) due to the participants which enjoyed all of the class sessions and will miss every moment of it. There are also Kahoot & post-test session that serve as the last assessment for the participant. After all of the session above are done, there are certificate awarding for the best participant in each class and also aftermovie as the commemorative gift for the participant and also serve as the closing of the session

FBICC 2020 has been successfully conducted with an overwhelmingly positive response from the participant. it can be seen that ITS students are very interested in joining the study abroad program based on the questions that they’ve asked. Hopefully, this program will be a stepping stone for any foreigner who’s interested in Indonesian language & culture and will give them a starting point if they’re interested to visit Indonesia in the future.
