Dear ITS Students,
here is the enclosed information on 2021 Global Korea Scholarship, from which the National Institute for International Education (NIIED) under the Korean Ministry of Education plans to offer scholarships to nationals of participating countries.
GKS program is designed to provide international students with opportunities to study at higher educational institutions in Korea for graduate-level degrees, which will enhance international education exchange and deepen mutual friendship between Korea and participating countries.
The selected scholars can get various benefits as follows: airfares (round trip), settlement allowance, monthly allowance, insurance, research support fee, tuition, language training fee, etc.
Application guidelines and further information for interested applicants is available on NIIED’s “Study in Korea” website at www.studyinkorea.go.kr → Scholarships → GKS Notice.
Please note that the scholarships are meant for graduate studies(master’s or doctoral) and research(postdoctoral, professor exchange) programs. All applicants must submit their application materials to our university no later than 7 April, 2021. Applicants should submit their application materials(original) to our university by post(parcel).
