Greetings ITS Students!
It is our great pleasure to invite all of you to apply for the upcoming STEP SOCIOVATION FORUM 2021 which will be held from 5 to 16 July 2021. Due to the ongoing pandemic, STEP Sociovation Forum was postponed in 2020. This year, the forum will take place in a hybrid format where sessions will be attended in-person by participants from Singapore and live-streamed to virtual participants overseas. Following the theme of “ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH VISUAL STORYTELLING”, the upcoming forum will once again bring together (physically and virtually) young leaders from ASEAN and Greater China Region, with a focus on environmental sustainability. We will be selecting a total of 70 aspiring students for this hybrid forum.
The complexities of today’s climate and sustainability challenges demand that we learn how to leverage on one another’s strengths, working together in collaboration. This forum will take our young leaders through an active exploration of environmental issues. From research and story-scouting, to narrative crafting, visual literacy and the technical aspects of filmmaking and photography, participants will walk away empowered to tell compelling stories that matter.
Registration is open until 30 April 2021.
Who should apply?
This forum is open to undergraduates studying in public / state-funded universities from ASEAN and Greater China Region who meet the following criteria:
The following expenses will be fully-sponsored for all 70 selected participants:
If applicable, the following expenses will be paid by overseas participants:
