Virtual Exchange Program at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Fall 2021

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) opens a virtual student exchange program for Fall Semester 2021 (semester 1) intake (11 Oct 2021 – 7 Feb 2022) for ITS students. The tuition fee for this program is waived and a physical presence in Malaysia is not required since this program will be running online. However, the selected students need to pay the application fee with amount MYR 170 for Undergradiate & MYR 400 for Postgraduate

ITS Students are recommended to take partial exchange by taking courses from both ITS and UKM. For example, ITS students  can take up to 2 – 5  courses.  By choosing this type, the student will be registered as a full-time student at ITS and she/he will still have to pay a full amount of UKT to ITS. Please pay attention to the schedule of selected courses from UKM to make sure it will not have a time conflict with the courses schedule at ITS.

Please kindly pay attention that students need to transfer minimum 2 courses. It would be great if you can transfer all the courses. Please kindly consult with your dept about courses selection and transfer credit process

Please kindly note that ITS Students can select course from one faculty only

This program is only eligible for ITS Students Diploma/S1 batch 2018, 2019 & 2020 and S2 batch 2020 from related departments.

Required documents:

  1. Application Form 
  2. Scanned of ID Students/Certificate of Enrollment
  3. Latest of An Academic Transcript in English version (GPA min 3,00)
  4. Scanned Passport Information page (if any) or you may replace with your scanned of ID citizen
  5. The latest of English Proficiency Test Score Certificate. TOEFL/TEFL/EFL (min 477) or you can use IELTS/IBT (The screenshoot score of EFL from UPT Bahasa web and TOEFL Prediction are not acceptable). IUP Students can replace English Proficiency score with statement letter from the Dept that you are IUP Students and you are  joining all academic activities full in english. 
  6. 1 recommendation letter from your lecturer
  7. Statement Letter & Learning Agreement (please download from here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange ). Those files must be signed by applicants and the Head/Secretary of Department

We will not process the incomplete application or late submission application

Please send all of the soft copy of required documents to Mr. Wahyu at studyabroad@its.ac.id with subject : VirtualExchange_UKM_Name_NRP  no later than  4 August 2021 (16.00 WIB). The online interview selection will be held between around 6 August 2021 afternoon/evening (depend of number applicants)
