A Semester Exchange Program at Feng Chia Univ Intake Spring 2022

Feng Chia University (FCU) Taiwan would like to inform you that the registration for semester exchange application for spring semester (Intake 11 Feb – 17 June 2022) is already opened.  The tuition fee for this program is waived. However the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, dorms and living expenses in Taiwan including Roundtrip Flight Ticket & Insurance. Students also need to check the entry regulation to enter Taiwan

Please be aware that some of course could be changed or modified for the new semester. In addition, the intensive courses of Chinese Language Center (CLC) are non-fee-waived programs and no credits (0 credit). CLC’s courses may cause extra fees for exchange students. Furthermore, programs under the International School of Technology and Management (ISTM) is not available for exchange students

Please be aware that some of course could be changed or modified for the new semester. ITS Students must take and transfer minimum 10 sks

As the list of English-taught courses of 2022 spring will not come out until January 2022 students can show their learning motivation or expectation to study in Feng Chia in the study plan

Average around NT$7,000-8,500 per month, plus deposit fee NT$10,000-15,000

Mandatory expanse in FCU: NT$4,250

International Medical insurance: NT$2,500

*5 months/one semester, not necessary if you have in your home country.

Student Card: NT$250

Accident Insurance & Computer Use: NT$950

Campus Health Check: NT$550

This program is open for ITS Students Diploma/S1 batch 2018, 2019 & 2020 and S2 who already completed min 1 semester

Here are the required documents that you need to prepare in pdf (except photo in JPEG):

1. Application Form  with one color photo, each form should put on an approval stamp or signatures from students’ home universities (you can get signature later after interview session)

2. An Official Academic Transcript in English version (the GPA is must higher than 2.75 for S1, 3.00 for S2)

3. Study Plan in Chinese or English +  Course Pre-Selection Form

4. Scanned of ID students

5. A JPG file of 2-inch color photo

6. A Scanned Passport Information Page (valid minimum at least one year)

7 . The latest valid English proficiency level certificate (original). Applicants can submit either TOEFL/IELTS/IBT/EFL certificate. You can submit TOEFL/EFL who longer than 2 years. Please note that the score is minimum equal to TOEFL/EFL 500. Score screenshoot EFL from web UPT Bahasa or TOEFL Prediction are not acceptable

8. Chinese/Mandarin Proficiency certificate ( if any )

9. Learning Agreement (please download from here bit.ly/its-student-exchange ) Please only submit with your department coordinator ( Head of Dept ) signed only. You don’t need to get signed at Institutional Coordinator and please leave blank for that section.

10. Statement letter (You can download it at bit.ly/its-student-exchange )

11. Certificate of GCW Non Degree (minimum C) or Result Test GCW Non Degree min 80 (please kindly note that this documents is required for this program, S2 applicants are not compulsory to submit those documents since the academic activities for postgraduate level is quite different) 

The incomplete application will not proceed by Mobility Team. ITS Students must consult with your parents for the financial aspects and please kindly provide the statement letter from your parents (in Bahasa) that your parents are support you (all financial & mental) to join this program. You need to submit it during interview process
