NTHU Student Exchange Spring Semester 2023

Dear ITS Student,

National Tsing Hua University (NTHU)  would like to inform you that the registration for a semester exchange application for Spring semester 2023 (Intake Februari 2023 – Juni 2023) is already opened. The tuition fee for this program is waived. However the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, dorms and living expenses in Taiwan including Roundtrip Flight Ticket & Travel Insurance. Students also need to check the entry regulations from Taiwan Government.

This program is open for ITS students with criteria below :

–  Diploma & S1 batch 2020 & 2021

–  S2/S3 who already completed minimum 1 semesters

The language of instruction at NTHU is mainly Chinese; however, the university offers several courses in English

If course list is not available for 2023 spring semester, you could refer to 2022 spring as most of the courses will be the same.

In NTHU, the undergraduate Exchange Students are request for enroll at least 3 courses, the graduate Exchange Students are request for enroll at least 1 course. (Student needs to take at least one course from the same department as  their home department at ITS and they may takes the other courses from different department.)

Please kindly note that ITS students must take & transfer maximum credit for Diploma & S1

Here are the required documents that you need to prepare :

1. CV

2. Certificate of Enrollment

3. An Official Academic Transcript in English version (GPA min 2,75)

4. One recommendation letter from an academic advisor

5. Study Plan (maximum 2 pages)

6. Photocopy of the applicant’s passport information page (at least valid until one year per February 2023)

7. Valid English Proficiency Test Score (original). TOEFL/IELTS/IBT  (You can use EFL minimum 477, score screenshoot from web UPT Bahasa is not acceptable,  test prediction is not acceptable as well )

8. Learning Agreement (please download from here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange ) Please only submit with your department coordinator ( Head of Dept ) signed only. You don’t need to get signed at Institutional Coordinator and please leave blank for that section.

9. Statement Letter (please download from here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange )

10. Certificate health insurance at least for 6 months ( you can submit it later after passed ITS GE selection)

11. Certificate of GCW Non Degree (minimum C) or Result Test GCW Non Degree min 80 (please kindly note that this documents is required for this program, S2/S3 applicants are not compulsory to submit those documents since the academic activities for postgraduate level is quite different) 

The incomplete application will not proceed by Mobility Team. ITS Students must consult with your parents for the financial aspects and please kindly provide the statement letter from your parents (in Bahasa) that your parents are support you (all financial & mental) to join this program. You need to submit it during interview process

The interview selection will be held on 5 October 2022 around 14.00 – 18.00 WIB
