Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) Thailand would like to inform you that the registration for semester exchange application for Intake Spring Semester (16 January to 20 May 2023) is open.  The tuition fee for this program is waived. However the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, accommodations and living expenses in Thailand including Roundtrip Flight Ticket, visa fees & Insurance.

*At Mae Fah Luang University, English is being used a medium of instruction in all schools/faculties.
*Course Restriction
Not all courses are open to exchange students as they require special application eligibility or completion of pre- requisite courses.
The following are fields of study that are exclusively offered to major students.

The University has increased its accommodation capacity and offers up to 5,000 beds in 16 dormitory buildings for students. Students’ residences are just a ten-minute walk from the main university buildings. Students have privacy within a safe, friendly, and lively learning environment. All exchange students are recommended to stay in the dormitories with the intention of encouraging students to develop their social skills through living together, learning together and helping one another. The student dormitories, which are supervised by University staff and guarded round the clock by security officers, provide desks, beds and mattresses, internet corners, TV rooms and study rooms.

This program open for ITS students with criteria below :

– D4/S1 batch 2020, 2021

– S2 batch all batch

– Have a good english ( oral & written )

INSURANCE
All Internationalstudentsare required to purchase health insurance during your stay in Thailand especially an insurance policy covering health care and treatment expenses for COVID-19 disease with a coverage of no less than 10,000 USD

VISA
All international students are required to apply for a Non-Immigrant Entry Visa code “ED” for the purpose of their stay in Thailand, prior to arrival. A Non-Immigrant Entry Visa code “ED” costs 2,000 THB (60 USD, 40 EUR – subject to change)

Here are the required documents that you need to prepare :

  1. Certificate of Enrollment (with Dirpendik’s signature)
  2. Learning Agreement (Download it here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange ). Please kindly fill department coordinator with the signature head of department/coordinator academic at your department. Please leave it blank at Institutional Coordinator (it will be done by ITS GE)
  3. Official Academic Transcript in English version (with Dirpendik’s signature)
  4. Latest English Proficiency English Test (You can use TOEFL/EFL with minimum Score is 477 or IBT/IELTS with score equal to TOEFL 477) –> screenshoot is not acceptable
  5. One recommendation letter from an academic advisor
  6. A Statement of Purpose defining student’s academic career and personal motivations for studying abroad at MFU (approximately 300 words)
  7. Scanned Valid Passport (validity minimum 1 year)
  8. Statement Letter (Download it here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange )
  9. Certificate of GCW Non Degree (minimum C) or Result Test GCW Non Degree min 80 (S2 Applicants can replace it with R2SEP certificate)

We will not process the incomplete documents or late submission. ITS Students must consult with your parents for the financial aspects and please kindly provide the statement letter from your parents (in Bahasa) that your parents are support you (all financial & mental) to join this program. You need to bring it during interview

For ITS Students who are interested with this program please kindly send all of your documents (softcopy in PDF) to Mr. Ade at studyabroad@its.ac.id with subject : StudentExchange_MFU_Name_NRP maximum on 20 November 2022 ( 12.00 WIB). The Interview Session will be held on 22 November 2022.
