A Semester Exchange Program at HZ Univ of Applied Sciences Fall Semester 2023

HZ University of Applied Sciences Netherlands would like to inform you that the registration for semester exchange application for Fall semester 2023 (28th of August 2023 until 2nd of February 2024) is open.  The tuition fee for this program is waived. However the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, independent quarantine, dorms and living expenses in Netherlands including Roundtrip Flight Ticket & Travel Insurance.

ITS Students need to took minimun 22,5 ECTS and maximum 35 ECTS. Please make sure that you transfer maximum credit opportunity.

Students can choose courses from the Bachelor programmes that HZ offers in English. Courses can be found in our website.

DON’T FORGET –

• To arrange Health Insurance click here – it’s mandatory to have that in the Netherlands.
• To arrange Liability Insurance click here – it’s advisable to have that in the Netherlands.
• To see if it is necessary to apply for a Dutch bank account/pass (ING) click here.
• To put an ICE-number (In Case of Emergency) in the address book of your mobile phone.
• To make copies of important documents including, insurance documents, your ID/Passport. In the Netherlands there is a KopieID (CopyID) app which enables you to take a safe digital copy of your ID. See if your government has a similar app.

Rent per month Averagely € 300,-/€600,-
Bike (second hand) € 50,-/ € 150,-
Food and personal expenses 0-€300/month
Dinner (restaurant, excl. drinks) € 20,-/ € 50,-
Soft drink or beer (bar/restaurant) € 3,-
Bus ticket Averagely €3,- per zone
Mobile Phone (prepaid) From € 50,- (very simple phone)/prepaid sim-card about € 5,- to €10,-

ACCOMMODATION
Students who have been officially accepted can make a reservation through the website. The monthly rent varies between € 300,- and € 600,-.

IMMIGRATIONWhether students have to apply for a visa/MVV before entering the Netherlands depends on their nationality.

This program open for ITS Students S1 batch 2021 & 2020 and also S2 who already completed min 1 semester

Here are the required documents that you need to prepare:

1. CV (maximum 2 pages)

2. One original applicant’s University Transcript. (English version). The GPA of applicants must higher than 2,75 (out of 4.0)

3. Photocopy of the applicant’s passport information page (Validity minimum one year from Jan 2022)

4. Latest English Proficiency Certificate Test Score: TOEFL/EFL/TEFL min 477 (Score screenshoot from web UPT Bahasa is not acceptable, you may use TOEFL prediction)

5. Motivation Letter (maximum 2 pages).

7. Learning Agreement ITS version (please download from here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange ) For this file must signed by applicants and advisor/Head of Dept only. You may leave blank for institutional coordinator section

8. Certificate of Enrollment

9. Certificate of GCW Non Degree (minimum C) or Result Test GCW Non Degree min 80

10. ITS Students must consult with thier parents for the financial aspects and please kindly provide the statement letter from your parents (in Bahasa) that your parents are support you (all financial & mental) to join this program. (No format required)

The incomplete application will not proceed by Mobility Team.

If you have finished and submitted your Study Abroad Application form, YOU HAVE TO SEND email to studyabroad@its.ac.id confirming that you have filled out the Study Abroad Application Form and submit it. Please use this subject: “Confirmation Study Abroad Application_HZUAS_NAME_NRP”. The submission deadline is on 26 April 2023 ( 23.59 WIB). The Interview Session will be held on 28 April 2023.
