Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) Malaysia would like to inform you that the registration for semester exchange application for Fall Semester 2023 (October 2023 – February 2024) is open. The tuition fee for this program is waived. However, the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, dormitory and living expenses in Malaysia including Roundtrip Flight Ticket, visa fees, facility fee & Insurance. Please kindly note that the academic can’t be run into virtual one depends on covid-19 situation. Those who accepted in this program, have to pay Processing Fee RM 170.00 per student, to be paid in cash to UniKL upon registration.
This program is open for active ITS Students Diploma/S1 (batch 2020 & 2021) and also S2 who already completed 1 minimum semester.

COURSES OFFERED TO EXCHANGE STUDENTS
Undergraduate: https://www.unikl.edu.my/programs/by-specialisation/ Maximum number of credits per semester to be validated: 18 UniKL credits (equivalent to 30 ECTS per semester)
Postgraduate: https://www.unikl.edu.my/programs/by-levels-of-study/ 15 UniKL credits (equivalent to 25 ECTS credits per semester)
ITS students is mandatory to maximize the opportunity to transfer the credit (except for postgraduate students, you may took and transfer minimum 6 SKS). You can only take courses from one department only. You may can take up to 15 credits in UniKL.

VISA REQUIREMENTS UIO will facilitate students with any inquiries during the visa application process. Please be informed that effective 15 December 2016, all students must obtain single-entry visa from the Malaysian Embassy of the Home Country prior to entering Malaysia. DO NOT PURCHASE FLIGHT TICKET BEFORE RECEIVING THE SINGLE-ENTRY VISA FROM THE MALAYSIAN EMBASSY/ HIGH COMMISSION AT YOUR HOME COUNTRY. In the absence of Malaysian Embassy/ High Commission at your home country (for example Portugal, you may obtain your Visa on Arrival at the airport in Malaysia upon your arrival). Student may apply for the visa online through EMGS website once they receive Acceptance Letter and Visa Application Guidelines from UIO. Note: You may be required to re-submit/add documentation depending on EMGS requirement during the visa application process. Payment: You need to make the visa payment directly to EMGS through credit card during your visa application. Upon approval and receipt of the VAL (Visa Approval Letter), UIO will notify the student and the Home University. Student can download the VAL through their EMGS account/ Mobile apps. Student must immediately apply for a single-entry pass from the Malaysian Embassy/ Malaysian Representative Office in the home university country. Upon arrival in Malaysia and after having passed the Medical Screening, UIO will collect passport from the students and submit to EMGS/lmmigration to get the visa sticker on it.
Here are the required documents that you need to prepare :

2. Certificate of Enrollment/ Letter of Enrollment in english
3. An Official Academic Transcript in English version (GPA min 2,75)
4. One recommendation letter from an academic advisor
5. Scanned of the applicant’s passport information page (at least valid until 18 months starting from September 2023)
6.Motiviation Letter
7. The latest certificate of English Proficiency Test Score (original). TOEFL/IELTS/IBT (You can use certificate of TEFL/EFL UPT Bahasa ITS minimum 477). Please kindly note that screenshoot score from web UPT Bahasa and TOEFL prediction are not acceptable.
8. Learning Agreement (please download from here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange ) Please only submit with your department coordinator (Head of Dept) signed only. You don’t need to get signed at Institutional Coordinator and please leave blank for that section.

12. ITS Students must consult with thier parents for the financial aspects and please kindly provide the statement letter from your parents (in Bahasa) that your parents are support you (all financial & mental) to join this program. (No format required)
The incomplete application will not proceed by Mobility Team.
