SUT, Thailand, Global Course Trimester 2 of Academic Year 2023

Dear ITS Students,

Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) Thailand opens a virtual student exchange program for Trimester 2 of Academic Year 2023 (13 November 2023 – 10 March 2024) for ITS students. The tuition fee for this program is waived (SUT is ITS partner) and a physical presence in Thailand is not required since this program will be running online.

Due to the regulations from SUT, ITS Students are recommended to take partial exchange by taking courses from both ITS and SUT. We encourage the applicants to apply prepare back up courses as anticipation in case the courses  were suddenly cancelled due to the quota did not meet. By choosing this type, the student will be registered as a full-time student at ITS and she/he will still have to pay a full amount of UKT to ITS. Please pay attention to the schedule of selected courses from SUT to make sure it will not have a time conflict with the courses schedule at ITS.

SUT offer free courses online / on-site / hybrid for students from SUT’s partner universities (4 credits tuition fee and dormitory fee waived for one term) to gain intercultural competency skills, by enrolling in an online course and studying with SUT students. The students will benefit from a multicultural learning environment and receive an original transcript from SUT after the final exam. Please kindly note that ITS Students can take courses maximum 4 credits. if you took more than 4 credits, you need to pay addition fee about THB 550 per credit enrolled. 

This program is only eligible for ITS Students Diploma/S1 batch 2020, 2021 and also S2 all batch from related departments.

Required documents:

1. CV (please make sure that you write clearly full name, birth of date, phone number and email in this CV)
2. Scanned of ID Students (KTM) / Certificate of Enrollment
3. Latest of An Academic Transcript in English version (GPA min 2.75)
4. Certificate of GCW Non Degree (minimum C) / the result of GCW Non Degree Test min 80
5. Scanned Passport Information page (if any) or you may replace with your scanned of ID citizen
6. The latest of English Proficiency Test Score. TOEFL/TEFL/EFL (min 477) or you can use IELTS/IBT (The screenshoot score of EFL from UPT Bahasa web and TOEFL Prediction are acceptable). 
7. 1 Page study plan. please make sure you that you write your selection courses in this study plan.
8. Statement Letter & Learning Agreement (please download from here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange ). Those files must be signed by applicants and the Head/Secretary of Department. (In the mean time you can send the screenshot of your communication with your department that stated you are allowed to participate in this program and choosen course for this program)
9. ITS Students must consult with thier parents for the financial aspects and please kindly provide the statement letter from your parents (in Bahasa) that your parents are support you (all financial & mental) to join this program. (No format required)

Incomplete application will not be processed by Mobility Team.

If you have finished and submitted your Study Abroad Application form, YOU HAVE TO SEND email to studyabroad@its.ac.id confirming that you have filled out the Study Abroad Application Form and submit it. Please use this subject: “Confirmation Study Abroad Application_SUT_NAME_NRP”. The submission deadline is on 30 October 2023 (10.00 WIB). The online interview selection will be held 30 October 2023 around 15.30 – 20.30 WIB
