École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tarbes – ENIT, European Project Semester Spring 2024

Dear ITS Students,
École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tarbes – ENIT, France would like to inform you that the registration for European Project Semester Spring 2024 (March –  June 2024) is open.  The tuition fee for this program is free. However, the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, dormitory and living expenses in France, including Roundtrip Flight Ticket, visa fees, facility fee & Insurance. The students also need to check entry regulations from France Government.

This original programme (EPS) for engineering students is offered by a network of 19 universities in 13 countries across Europe. For one semester, students will follow courses and carry out group work on industrial projects entirely in English. The only school in France to offer this, ENIT plays host to between 15 and 20 students each semester and sends some of its students to the institutions in the network. ENIT offers this programme twice a year (fall and spring sessions). The semester is a blend of project work (24 ECTS credits) and classes (2 ECTS credits For French as a foreign language, 2 credits for English language, 2 credits for communication skills), being a total of 30 ECTS credits.

In this semester, students will develop:

• Multicultural awareness
• Teamwork
• Language and communication skills
• Industrial experience

EPS IS 

• A course taught exclusively in English
• 30 ECTS points divided between a project (24 ECTS) and project related courses (6 ECTS)
  • Project work: 24 ECTS credits
  • French as a foreign language: 2 ECTS credits
  • English as a foreign language: 2 ECTS credits
  • Communication skills: 2 ECTS credits
• International team of 3-5 students
• The only provider of this program in France

The E.P.S. is a 15-week industrial project that can be carried out by 3rd, 4th or 5th year engineering students. The aim of the European Project Semester is to gather international students from different fields of studies and make them working together on a real life project, using all their skills (design, communication, informatics, managing…) International students, communicating in English, work on a real industrial project in small groups. The emphasis is put on communication skills and teamwork. The semester is a blend of project work (24 ECTS credits) and classes (2 ECTS credits For French as a foreign language, 2 credits for English language, 2 credits for communication skills), being a total of 30 ECTS credits

ACCOMMODATION
ENIT’s International Relations Office helps providing an accommodation to all the incoming students in exchange (campus residence or shared houses). According to availabilities, each student receives a proposal of accommodation.

VISA
Non-European students staying more than 90 days are asked to provide us a copy of their visa. Depending on the type of their visa, students may have to pay an extra tax to validate their long-stay visa within 3 months after their arrival in France.

INSURANCE
Every student will be required to provide a proof of housing insurance. You should know that housing insurance includes third-party liability insurance, “assurance responsabilité civile”, which is required for enrollment at ENIT (no more than 70€/year). A “package” can be asked at the opening of a bank account: account + housing insurance including third-part liability insurance.

6. Scan of the passport (The passport must be valid for at least 1 year before its expiry date)

12. ITS Students must consult with their parents for the financial aspects and please kindly provide the statement letter from your parents (in Bahasa) that your parents are support you (all financial & mental) to join this program. (No format required)

The incomplete application will not proceed by Mobility Team.

Please use this subject: “Confirmation Study Abroad Application_ENITEPS_NAME_NRP”. The submission deadline is on 6 December 2023 (09.00 WIB). The Interview Session will be held on 8 December 2023.
