ASIAN UNDERGRADUATE SYMPOSIUM at National University Singapore 2024

The Asian Undergraduate Symposium (AUS) is a two-week programme organised by NUS College (NUSC) that brings together undergraduates from Singapore, Asian regions, with a special focus on ASEAN participants, for cultural exchange, networking, and capacity development.

AUS 2024 will be co-organised with NUS Global Relations Office (GRO) as the NUS-AUN Summer Programme 2024.

GOALS:
ENABLE participants to understand and attend to challenges to the future of the ASEAN region and Asia.
EMPOWER participants to address and overcome the challenges with interdisciplinary solutions.
DEVELOP participants to become global citizens through meaningful intercultural exchange, networking and capacity building.

What is the Asian Undergraduate Summit (AUS)?
The Asian Undergraduate Symposium (AUS) is a two-week programme organised by NUS College (NUSC) that brings together undergraduates from Singapore, Asian regions, with a special focus on ASEAN participants, for cultural exchange, networking, and capacity development. Initiated in 2015 as an international programme organised by NUS University Scholars’ Programme students and supported by the Temasek Foundation from 2015-2023, AUS aims to build a platform for undergraduates across ASEAN from various disciplines to come together and engage in meaningful academic and intercultural exchange. The AUS programme framework runs on the I-4 Model (Inspire, Ideate, Intercultural, Implement), which combines Design Thinking and Open Space Technology principles. AUS 2024 will be co-organised with NUS Global Relations Office (GRO) as the NUS-AUN Summer Programme 2024.

Participants will have to present and attend all parts of the AUS programme from 1-13 July 2024. In addition, if their project proposal is selected and the AUS project grant awarded, participants will need to commit a further 3 months to see to project completion.

Fee:
The National University of Singapore (NUS) will sponsor participants’ AUS programme costs, accommodation and most meals. Participants will only need to arrange for their own return airfare and transfers, visa, travel insurance and some meals.

Participants will be selected based on student registration submissions by a Selection Committee headed the AUS2024 Academic Lead.

This program is open for ITS undergraduate students from any batch.

5. Scanned of Parents letter support (the letter must signed by your parents and the letter must mention about the awareness of your parents about this program. Please also mention that your parents support you for the financial and other things if you are accepted in this program)

6. Official Certificate of English Proficiency Test(Eg. DET, TOEFL, IELTS, etc)

For ITS Students who interested to join this program please kindly submit your application through this form https://its.id/studyabroadITS . All of your documents must be in PDF and collected in 1 (one) .zip/.rar file. If you have finished and submitted your Study Abroad Application form, YOU HAVE TO SEND email to studyabroad@its.ac.id confirming that you have filled out the Study Abroad Application Form and submit it. Please use this subject: “Confirmation Study Abroad Application_AUSNUS_NAME_NRP”. The submission deadline extended until 26 February 2024 ( 09.00 WIB). The Interview Session will be held on 27 February 2024 (15.30).
