National Taiwan University of Science & Technology (NTUST) would like to inform you that the registration for a semester exchange application for Fall semester 2024 (Intake mid. September to mid. January) is already opened. The tuition fee for this program is waived. However the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, dorms and living expenses in Taiwan including Roundtrip Flight Ticket & Travel Insurance. Students need to check the regulation from Taiwan Government.

– S2/S3 who already completed minimum 1 semester
The language of instruction at Taiwan Tech is mainly Chinese; however, the university offers more than 160 courses in English every semester at Graduate Level.

Minimum credits Bachelor min 9 credits and you must transfer minimum 9 credits in ITS system. You may take courses in graduate level (for last year students)
Master and PhD min 1 courses and can take courses from different dept
Note:
1 credit = 18 teaching hours, 1 course = 2 or 3 credits. Each course lasts a semester (18 weeks). 1 credit usually equal to 1.6 ~ 3 ECTS credits (depends on home university)
Accommodation
◆ On-campus housing: Due to high demand and limited facilities, accommodation in on-campus dormitories can only be offered to full-time degree students. ◆ Off-campus housing: The private rental market in Taipei offers a wide range of accommodation. Reasonable rates per person per month lie between NT$ 7000- NT$ 14000, depending on room types and location. Recommended areas are Da’an District and Zhongzheng District where Taiwan Tech, National Taiwan Normal University, National Taiwan University are located. Many Taiwan Tech students live in Yonghe district in New Taipei City where rents are cheaper than in the city center. Free Mandarin Chinese Program
The Chinese Language Program (CLP) at Taiwan Tech is designed especially for international students and other Chinese learners. This program focuses on daily conversation on various topics, such as eating, clothing, living, transportation and entertainment. The CLP is offered by the Language Center; detailed information on courses and application will be announced on arrival.

7. Valid Certificate of English Proficiency Test Score (original). TOEFL/IELTS/IBT (You can use EFL ITS minimum 477). TOEFL Prediction & Score EFL screenshoot from web UPT Bahasa are not eligible.

10. Certificate health insurance at least for 6 months ( you can submit it later after passed ITS International Office selection)
11. Certificate of GCW Non Degree (minimum C) or Result Test GCW Non Degree min 80 (please kindly note that this documents is required for this program, S2 applicants are not compulsory to submit those documents since the academic activities for postgraduate level is quite different)
