Research Intenship Program at UTM 2025
Internship for ITS Students
The tuition fee for this program is waived. However the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, dorms and living expenses in Malaysia including Roundtrip Flight Ticket & Travel Insurance
This program is open for ITS students for D4 & S1 (batch 2021 & 2022) , S2 & S3 (all batch). Final year/semester students will become priority for this program.

Please kindly note that ITS Students can apply this program for 1 – 5 months (maximum). The period time for this program is begin from May/June/July 2025
Here the requirement for this program :
1. CV
2. Scanned of Official Academic Transcripts
3. 2-5 Pages Research Plan. Please indicate the name of Prof./Dept (if possible) and Topic. Please make sure that you write clearly the internship time in your proposal
4. Scanned passport information page at least valid minimum one year starting from 1 May 2o25
5. Valid English Proficiency certificate (original). TOEFL/IELTS/IBT with minimum score 477 (You can use EFL and screenshoot from web UPBG is acceptable)
6. One recommendation letter from an academic advisor
7. Certificate of Enrollment
8. Statement Letter (please download from here http://bit.ly/its-student-exchange )
9. Proof of 1 on 1 AWC consultation at least 1 times. Please kindly consult your research plan first to AWC team before submit to us (https://www.instagram.com/itswritingcenter/ ). You can choose 1 on 1 consultation.
The incomplete documents can’t be process by mobility team
For ITS Students who are interested with this program please kindly send all of your documents (softcopy) to Mr. Wahyu at studyabroad@its.ac.id with subject : LabInternship_UTM_Name_NRP maximum on 30 January 2025 (max on 16.00 WIB). The interview will be held on 31 January 2025 around 15.00 – 18.00 WIB.
