Humber College Canada would like to inform you that the registration for semester exchange application for fall semester 2025 (Intake September – December 2025) is already opened. The ITS Students have a chance to get The Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) during their exchange program in this university. The selected students also need to check the entry regulations from Canada Government
The Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) program aims to reduce poverty in the developing countries of ASEAN and to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The successfull applicants will received the scholarship with up to CAD 10.200 for the whole semester. However, there are 2 options for this scholarship in Humber College
Option 1: You will received the scholarship and managed by yourself. You may use the scholarship for anything such as visa fees, flight, accommodation, etc. However, usually you will received the scholarship at least in week 5th of academic semester.
Option 2: Humber Polytechnic will use the scholarship funds on behalf of the successful candidate to contribute tothe following eligible expenses and provide any remaining funds to the candidate after their arrival in Canada:
• visa and/or study/work permit fees;
• airfare, for the scholarship recipient only, to Canada by the most direct and economical route
and return airfare upon completion of the scholarship;
• health insurance;
• living expenses, such as accommodation, utilities and food;
• ground public transportation, including a public transportation pass; and
• books and supplies required for the recipient’s study or research, excluding computers and other equipment.

Credits: 3.0 credit hours per course (i.e. 6 ECTS credits and 15 CATS)

Exchange students are responsible for paying for the International Student Insurance provided through Humber: Morcare Health Insurance and IGNITE Health & Dental Insurance.

The Residence includes a Lounge on each floor with comfortable furniture; a Community Kitchen; free Athletics Facility; Recreational Space; laundry facilities (washers and dryers that can be accessed through a laundry card).
Students need to purchase their own bedding.
Courses:
The students can find our list of available courses here ( Course sheet) . Humber only offers courses from semesters 1, 3, 5, and 7 in the FALL 2025 semester. You will be enrolled in five (5) courses, but to allow for possible scheduling conflicts, you are asked to select eight (8) courses, ranking your choices. The students must choose courses from one Academic Faculty only, in either a degree OR diploma-level program (do not mix). Please contact your Humber Faculty International Coordinator if you have questions. Please indicate at the top of the Learning Agreement which Humber Program your courses fall under (for example, “Bachelor of Film and Media Production”). This program only open for ITS Students D4 & S1 batch 2022 & 2023. The ITS Students must take at least 4 courses and transfer all the credit into MBKM Courses (compulsory or elective course)
Here are the required documents that you need to prepare :
1. CV
2. An Official Academic Transcript in English version with minimum GPA 3.25
3. A certificate of Valid English Proficiency Test. You must use submit from one of options documents below:
4. Certificate of Enrollment. (Please make sure that you mentioned the purposed documents)
5. Scanned Passport with validity minimum one year from 1 Sept 2025
6. One recommendation letter from an academic advisor/Head of Department. The recommendation letter must explaining the nature of study or research, how the candidate and ITS will benefit from this scholarship program, and the institution’s assessment of the candidate’s commitment and capacity to use the program of study or research in Canada to help combat poverty and narrow the development gap in the ASEAN region (maximum one page). Please kindly note that the recommendation letter must use official letterhead of ITS which means that the students need to ask recommendation from Lecturer who have position in ITS such as Head /Secretary of Dept etc
7. Letter of intent from the candidate: a letter in English or French explaining how undertaking the study/research in Canada will empower the student to apply the learning to address the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and how they intend to use this learning to help combat poverty and narrow the development gap in the ASEAN region in their future career. In the letter of intent, candidates must identify the Sustainable Development Goal that their proposed study or research in Canada would contribute to (maximum one page). The Letter of intent must include the following:
