Internship for ITS Students
Dear ITS Students,
King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Thailand, is now accepting applications for the Lab Internship Program (July/August 2025 Intake). This program allows students to experience a different academic and research environment, conduct research on specific topics under international collaboration, and gain cultural exposure in Thailand.
Program Details

Supervision & Assessment: Students will receive research assignments from KMITL supervisors, who will provide regular assessments and guidance.

Tuition Fee: Waived

Student Responsibilities:
- Learning materials
- Accommodation and living expenses in Thailand
- Round-trip flight ticket
- Visa and travel insurance

Duration: Minimum 1 month, maximum 4 months
- Start: July/August 2025 (end date depends on the student’s proposal)
- Students should consult their department regarding the possibility of transferring this internship into KP (Kerja Praktek).
Eligibility
- Open to ITS students:
- D4 & S1 (Batch 2022)
- S2 & S3 (All batches)
- Final-year/semester students will be prioritized.
Research Topics & Supervisors
Students must select a research topic that aligns with a department/lab at KMITL. Refer to the following websites for prospective topics, labs, and professors:
Required Documents
- CV
- Scanned official academic transcript
- Research Plan (2-5 pages)
- Indicate professor’s name and research topic
- Clearly state the proposed internship duration
- No need to contact the professor directly; OIA KMITL will assist in matching students with supervisors
- Scanned passport (valid for at least 1 year)
- Valid English proficiency certificate (TOEFL/IELTS/IBT/Duolingo – minimum score equivalent to 500)

- GCW/RSEP/R2SEP Certificate
Incomplete applications will NOT be processed.
