Hanyang University ERICA is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Fall 2025 Semester Exchange Program (September 1 – December 20, 2025). This tuition-waived opportunity is available for eligible ITS students to study in South Korea.

Open to ITS Undergraduate (D4/S1) students from batch 2022 and 2023.
Hanyang offers around 500–600 courses in English each year across various departments.
Approximately 70% are major-related, and 30% are electives.
Students may take courses from different departments, subject to availability.
The course list is released about one month before the semester begins. Students should refer to the previous year’s course list: View here.
Graduate students may apply, but are expected to take mostly undergraduate (3rd–4th year) courses.
1 Hanyang credit = 15 contact hours
1 Hanyang credit ≈ 2 ECTS credits
Normal study load: 15–18 credits/semester (maximum: 20 credits)
Exchange students must take at least one regular course to maintain their visa.
Online registration will take place before departure.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Preferred courses are not guaranteed, so flexibility is required.
Students are advised not to rely on Hanyang courses for mandatory graduation requirements.

Dormitory application opens around two months before the semester begins.
Dormitory placement is not guaranteed—students must apply and pay during the designated period.

Hanyang offers a buddy program where current students assist international students in adapting to life in Korea. Instructions for application will be shared prior to the semester.
Dormitory: approx. 300,000 KRW
Off-campus housing: starts from 450,000 KRW
Food: approx. 400,000 KRW
Personal expenses: approx. 250,000 KRW
Total: around 950,000 – 1,100,000 KRW
All long-term foreign students are required to register for NHI.
Monthly fee is approx. 72,000 KRW
Separate international health insurance is also required, especially before the foreign registration card is issued.
Students eligible for exemption may apply individually. Further information will be shared later.
