Doing Business in a Changing China Summer School – Summer Schools at XJTLU in Suzhou, China

Hello, ITS Students!

We would like to introduce you to an exciting new summer programme at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in Suzhou, China ‘Doing Business in a Changing China Summer School’ which takes place from July 1 – July 14; and is very suited to students who wish to gain firsthand business experience in China, delivered by the country’s largest Sino-foreign university: XJTLU.

HOW IS THIS SUMMER SCHOOL UNIQUE?

  • Study in English at the International Business School, Suzhou at XJTLU – an AACSB and EQUIS-accredited global business school;
  • Learn from leading experts in Chinese economy, society, history and culture;
  • Get a first-hand look into Fortune 500 companies operating in China through industry site visits;
  • Live in beautiful Suzhou, one of China’s most liveable cities with a unique blend of the contemporary and the ancient;
  • Study at XJTLU’s modern campus with state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of Suzhou’s business, technology and industry hub;
  • Build an international network and make new friends;

A range of attractive scholarships of between 10 to 50 percent of tuition fees to exceptionally qualified applicants are also offered. This year, XJTLU has FULL scholarships from the Jiangsu Government Talent Selection Programme for students studying the Masters in Sustainable Construction. The scholarship includes a full tuition fee waiver, free accommodation, additional free Chinese language classes and a modest living allowance to cover daily expenses.

By gaining a globally recognised University of Liverpool Masters degree, the aim of this scholarship is to create the next generation of civil engineering professionals to support infrastructural development, especially through the Belt and Road Initiative. These summer Chinese language courses are FREE for all undergraduate and postgraduate students starting their degree in September 2019.
