Virtual Summer University Program 2021 at Hochschule Darmstadt

Dear ITS Students,

Hochschule Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences (Germany) invited ITS students to join “Virtual Summer University Program 2021 at Hochschule Darmstadt”.

Due to the pandemic situation, Hochschule Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences are decided to held this program in virtual mode. The program will be held  on 4-17 July 2021. They offer only one module for the summer one with topic “In Transition to a Pure Green Energy Economy”

Course Content:

The prospects of an energy system and a whole economy relying solely on renewable energy are the focus of our virtual summer school. The International Summer University Darmstadt brings together technical and business perspectives and focuses especially on three challenges on the way towards a green energy economy:

1) Transforming supply: Technology as driver for real competitive renewable energies.

2) Transforming demand: Smart homes and smart cars for smart people.

3) Transforming business: Strategic impacts for business models.

Planned virtual site visits:

–          EUREF-Campus, Berlin:  A real-world ‘laboratory’ for the energy revolution with over 150 companies and startups working on the campus area with its own, innovative and CO2-neutral energy concept

–          BMW Welt, Munich: BMWi exhibition: BMW’s vision of the future of mobility with pure electric vehicles and autonomous driving

Hochschule Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences are happy to provide 2 places for ITS Students to join this program. ITS Students are compulsory to apply through ITS GE and will follow all the selection process.

This program are open for ITS Students with criterias below

-> Diploma & S1 batch 2020, 2019 & 2018

-> S2 batch 2020

-> Have a good english in oral and written

-> The selected students must manage their own schedule with the departement

1. CV
2. The latest academic transcript in english version (GPA min 2,75). For S2 batch 2020, please kindly submit with your bachelor academic transcript
3. Scanned of Passport or Citizen ID
4. Scanned of latest of your English Profieciency English (TOEFL/EFL/TEFL/ITP) score min 477. Screenshoot from web UPT Bahasa and TOEFL Prediction are acceptable
5. Short Motivation Letter in English. The motivation letter must consist:  Why are you interested to join the program?, What is your special interest in the subject?, What added benefit do you expect to get by joining this program? How does the topic relate to your studies?, What skills and knowledge do you have to successfully complete the programme?  How do you prepare yourself for the programme?

7. Scanned of ID Students
8. Scanned of Germany Profiency test (if any)

Please submit all of your documents (soft copy) to Mr. Wahyu at studyabroad@its.ac.id (format email subject: Apply_VirtualSUP_Darmstadt_Name_NRP) maximum on 24 May 2021 (16.00WIB). The interview of this program will be held around 2-4 days after the deadline
