A Semester Exchange at Hochschule Darmstadt Spring Semester 2022

Dear ITS Students,

Hochschule Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, Germany would like to inform you that the registration for a semester exchange application for spring semester 2022 (intake March – August 2022) is already opened.  The tuition fee for this program is waived. However the accepted students are responsible for their learning materials, dorms and living expenses in Germany including roundtrip flight ticket,visa, quarantine and insurance. Students also need to pay attention with the entry regulations to enter Germany. The students must gather information by their own including the funding trip.

Estimated Cost of Living – per month:

• Rent 450 €

• Electricity 20€

• Health insurance approx. 90 €

• Material for study 50 €

• Food, Clothing, etc. 320 €

On time costs for the semester:

• Administrative Semester Fee  (social fees) 220 € (subject to change)

• Housing Deposit 450 €
A free bus ticket for buses, trams and local trains in the entire RMV-area (including most of the state of Hessen) is included in the Campus Card.

Please note that all the exchange students must take intensive german course. This program open for ITS Students Diploma/S1 batch 2019 & 2020 and also S2 all batch. ITS Students S1 must take and transfer credit minimum 10 SKS.

Here are the required documents that you need to prepare:

1. CV
2. Motivation Letter (maximum 2 pages)
3. Learning Agreement (Download it here bit.ly/its-student-exchange). Please kindly fill department coordinator with the signature head of department/coordinator academic at your department. Please leave it blank at Institutional Coordinator
4. Official Academic Transcript in English version
5. A Valid English Proficiency English Test certifictae (You can use TOEFL/EFL with minimum Score is 500, or IBT/IELTS who equal with TOEFL 500). Screenshoot score from web UPT Bahasa and TOEFL prediction are not acceptable
6. One recommendation letter from an academic advisor
7. Scanned Valid Passport (validity minimum 1 year)
8. Statement Letter (Download it here bit.ly/its-student-exchange )
9. Certificate of GCW Non Degree (minimum C) or Result Test GCW Non Degree min 80 (please kindly note that this documents is required for this program, S2 ITS Students can replace it with R2SEP certificate)
10. Scanned of Parents letter support (the letter must signed by your parents and the letter must mention about the awareness of your parents about this program. Please also mention that your parents support you for the financial and other things if you are accepted in this program)

The incomplete application will not processed by Study Abroad Team.

The interview selection will be held on 11/12 Oct 2021 by zoom.
