- Procedure:
1. Students are nominated by you for an exchange semester. (after ITS internal selection process)
2. Students apply within the deadline.
3. Students are officially admitted for an exchange semester at h_da.
4. Students apply for STIBET funding. Applying for STIBET funding can only happen after students have been officially admitted (i.e. in May/June for spring semesters, or November/December for winter semesters)

What is the funding amount?
Scholarship holders receive 465 euros per month for five months (as of 2024). The amount of the scholarship may change; we will announce this accordingly.
The awarding of scholarships is subject to the availability of funds.
- Campus Card: Includes a free public transport ticket for buses, trams, and local trains across the RMV region (most of Hessen).
- Intensive German Course: Mandatory for all exchange students.
Eligibility
- ITS Students (S1 Batch 2022 & 2023, and all S2 batches)
- S1 Students must take and transfer the maximum credit opportunity.

- Must be signed by the Head of Department/Academic Coordinator
- Leave the Institutional Coordinator section blank
- Official Academic Transcript (English version)
- Valid English Proficiency Certificate
- Your English proficiency must meet the B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The required minimum scores for different tests are as follows:
- Cambridge Certificate – 160 (Grade C) or higher
- IELTS – 5.5 or higher
- TOEFL iBT – 72 or higher
- TOEFL ITP – 543 or higher
- TOEIC (Reading & Listening) – 785 or higher
- TOEIC (Speaking & Writing) – 310 or higher
- UPT Bahasa screenshots and TOEFL Prediction are NOT accepted
- Recommendation Letter (from an academic advisor)
- Scanned Valid Passport (valid for at least 1 year from September 2025)
- Statement Letter (Download here)
- GCW Certificate (Non-Degree min. C / IUP Basic / IUP Advanced)
- S2 students can replace this with an R2SEP certificate
- Scanned Parent’s Support Letter
- Must be signed by parents, confirming their awareness and financial support for the program.
