The FICEM aims to bring together 10 Indonesian Universities and 9 French Grandes Ecoles of the Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT). The main activities are to allow the mobility of Indonesian students by welcoming them in our schools in our master programs, but also to allow the development of research between these two countries by counting on incoming and outgoing mobility both at the doctoral level and that of teachers/researchers.
The expected results and impact are to build closer links between Indonesia and France, and consequently Europe, and to train future Indonesian teachers/researchers who will have an affinity with France and Europe. Finally, relations between these two countries will be able to continue and intensify both at the academic and industrial research levels.
Since 2015, the Erasmus+ program has opened up outside Europe through the International Credit Mobility action. The objective of this action is to allow individual participants to develop their professional skills and deepen their intercultural knowledge. This component allows the implementation of study and internship mobility for students (from 2 to 12 months), mobility for teachers-researchers (teaching mission), and administrative staff (training mobility).
The FICEM has been selected by the European Commission for the Erasmus+ International Mobility Scholarships :
