Virtual CommTECH Nusantara 2025: Wonderful Folktales of Indonesia is a short program aimed to introduce various Indonesian culture to participants from all over the world through wonderful folktales from across in Indonesian archipelago. The program is also enriched with art & culture activities such as introduction such as traditional music, dance, foods and many more. At the end of the program, participants will present their creative ideas in Virtual Project Exhibition

During the program, participants will be given a project competition of creating a poster in the theme of Indonesian values and culture that has been introduced in the CommTECH Nusantara 2025 program. Participants may be as creatively as desired for creating the project. The projects will also be posted through CommTECH’s Instagram account as well as the Facebook account of ITS Global Engagement.

CommTECH Nusantara 2025 will be conducted every 19.30 – 22.30 WIB  GMT +7 from Monday, 6 Jan 2025 until Friday 17 Jan 2025

This program consists of  10 (ten) meetings with detail as follow:

Week 1 (6-10 Jan 2025)

(1) Monday, 6 Jan 2025 – Opening Ceremony & Virtual Campus Tour
(2) Tuesday, 7 Jan 2025 – Fun Bahasa Indonesia, Virtual Surabaya City Tour, East Java Folktales
(3) Wednesday, 8 Jan 2025 – West Java & Central Java Session
(4) Thursday, 9 Jan 2025 – Kalimantan Session
(5) Friday, 10 Jan 2025 – Sumatra Edition Session

Week 2 (13-17 Jan 2025)

(1) Monday, 13 Jan 2025 : Bali & Nusa Tenggara Session
(2) Tuesday, 14 Jan  2025: Sulawesi & Maluku Session
(3) Wednesday, 15 Jan 2025 : Papua Session & Project Announcement
(4) Thursday, 16 Jan 2025 : Virtual Presentation / Project Exhibition
(5) Friday, 17 Jan 2025 : Closing Ceremony

Non-Indonesian active bachelor, master & doctoral students from any background, non academic staff, lecturers & professors  are eligible for joining the program. International students who are currently studying in Indonesia are not eligible for this program

All the participants can get certificate of participation after completion of the program. The winner of project awarding also will got additional certificate and gift from ITS.
