Hatma Suryotrisongko, S.Kom., M.Eng., Ph.D., is the Head of the Cybersecurity and Smart City Laboratory at Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS). He was born in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in 1984. He received the Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, in 2007, and the master’s degree in knowledge-based information engineering from the Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree with the Graduate School of Science and Technology, Kumamoto University, Japan. Since 2014, he has been a Lecturer with the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya, Indonesia, and currently serves at Information Technology Department, Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (F-ELECTICS). His research interests include cybersecurity, cyber threat intelligence, artificial intelligence (AI), explainable AI (XAI), confidential/privacy-preserving machine learning (ML), adversarial ML, quantum ML, and post-quantum cryptography. Hatma is a member of the IEEE Computer Society, the Information Processing Society of Japan (IPSJ), and an Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
